How to return a Kindle Book

Kindle Books are automatically returned on their due dates.

If you finish a Kindle Book early, you can return it on Amazon's website, on your Kindle ereader, or from the Kindle app.

Returning a book on Amazon's website

1. In Sora, go to .
2. Select Loans.
3. Select Options.
4. Select Return, then select Return at Amazon.com.
5. On Amazon's website, select the title's cover image on the "Your Books" page.
6. Select .
7. Select Return borrowed book, then Return to confirm.
8. In Sora, select Yes, I've returned it to remove the book from your Shelf.

Returning a book on your Kindle ereader

1. On your Kindle ereader, go to your "Home" or "Library" screen.
2. Tap on the cover of the book.
3. Tap Remove from Library (on newer devices) or Return to Public Library (on older devices), then confirm.

Returning a book from the Kindle app

1. In the Kindle app, go to your "Home" or "Library" screen.
2. Tap and hold the book cover until you see a menu.
3. Tap Remove from Library, then confirm.
   
   Note: You may not see this option on older devices. If that's the case, please use one of the other return methods.
